Honda EV-Neo Scooter

Honda has always been in the forefront to come out with new ideas that has helped the world to be a better place. Now, Honda Motor has decided to sell its EV-Neo scooter on lease for business companies that have a lot of transportation work to do. Honda’s EV-Neo scooter is an electric scooter that is designed especially for carrying heavy goods or for delivery services and therefore Honda is now planning it to sell it on lease to small business corporations that would require some kind of transportation to delivery their products on time. Honda EV-Neo already qualifies as a first class motor-driven cycle in Japan and has engine displacement of 50cc and less.

Honda is now planning to provide 100 monitoring vehicles across Japan between December 2010 and March 2011 to see the initial response. The monitoring program will be for riding and collecting the exact data so that Honda can start selling the EV-Neo scooters in the market from April 2011. The data obtained from the monitoring test will be helpful for Honda engineers and marketing executives to execute their market strategies to gain maximum market influence when they actually start selling the scooters on lease.

The biggest positive side of the scooter is that it has zero CO2 emission and therefore it is very eco-friendly. The scooter has been designed to take on the load of the heavy cargo and where it can generate high torque even at low speeds. The scooter can recharge itself in 30 minutes and can work in any weather conditions.
